We are participating in NASA Earth Observatory's Citizen Science Water Quality project. Water samples will be collected from the Middle Fork of the Holston River. These samples will be tested for pH, nitrates, phosphates,dissolved oxygen, biochemical oxygen demand, coliform bacteria, and turbidity. We will also measure the water temperature. These data will be compiled and analyzed graphically and will be posted on this page. See discussion below this Google Earth image.
